Radio Broadcast Log Of:
The Ford Theater

This anthology series was Ford’s attempt to present the American radio listening audience with the best in film, stage, literature and musical comedy.  The first season began with a modest budget using New York radio actors and lasted only nine months.  Next came a change in not only networks, but from the East Coast to the West Coast and Hollywood’s “A” list in actors.  Ratings more than doubled, but even with the glitter from Hollywood, the series left the air at the end of the second season.
